careers

ASD operates in the slim area between the difficult and the impossible. Solving the toughest problems in foreign signals intelligence, cyber security and offensive cyber operations requires teams of clever, curious people with diverse and complementary skills.

The Co-Lab is a place where future generations of uniquely-skilled Australian students can learn about ASD and the broader National Intelligence Community, and realise their potential academic and professional career goals.  Our vision and commitment is to identify and share relevant career opportunities and activities for talented ANU students.

Engage with the Co-Lab

n-Way Handshake events

The Co-Lab hosts n-Way Handshake networking events for Australian students. These events are an opportunity to learn about program specific career opportunities within ASD. Students get to hear what it's like in a typical and perhaps not-so-typical working day at ASD, and sometimes cover more technical subjects. ASD speakers are there to help answer any questions you might have and it's a good way to meet like-minded students and researchers. Email co-lab@anu.edu.au to sign-up to our mailing list and hear about upcoming n-Way events.

Co-Lab study space

Australian students can request access to use the Co-Lab study space by emailing co-lab@anu.edu.au
